Frankenstein concert

Directed by Andrielle Davidson, St George Dance Company is excited to adapt to the stage one of the greatest scary stories ever written! Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, written in the year 1818, has been a classic since, but has never been adapted for the screen in it's true spirit. None of the films made so far have told the real story. Readers of the book are often surprised to find that the monster is not a slow, inarticulate, green brute. Shelley crafted a villain that is scary because of his cunning, and manipulative intelligence that St. George Dance Company will be bringing to life through dance.

Set against a backdrop of hauntingly beautiful music and mesmerizing choreography, our production of Frankenstein re-imagines the dark and complex world of Victor Frankenstein and his Monster. Through movement, emotion, and visual storytelling, we explore the themes of ambition, humanity, and the consequences of playing with life itself.

Join us for a captivating evening where dance meets bewitching storytelling, and classic literature is reawakened on stage. This performance promises to be a spellbinding experience for both dance enthusiasts and lovers of gothic tales alike.

If you love Halloween, this show will chill your spooky soul!

NOTE: While most of our shows are 100% family friendly, this show will have a uniquely darker tone and story. Please use discretion for small children or children who are sensitive to subjects such as death and ghosts.
