AUDITION DETAILS:
DATE: Saturday, January 4, 2025
TIME: 9:00am-11:00am ~ Check-In begins at 8:45am ~ Audition begins promptly at 9:00am.
LOCATION: *Electric Theater Studio - 68 E Tabernacle St, St. George, UT 84770
*Enter through Arrowhead Gallery and go downstairs
REGISTRATION FEE: $10
AGES: Dancers 14+
WHAT TO EXPECT: Contemporary warm up, 2 ballet combos and 2-3 choreography combos.
OPTIONAL: Demos of the 2 choreography combos are available to learn in advance. This will make the audition process run more efficiently.
VIDEO AUDITIONS: If you cannot audition in person, you may submit a video audition. Details are on the registration form.
Show Details:
Dates: April 3 & 4 - and possibly April 7
Titled "Masterpieces in Motion" the show will take us through a tour of dance works inspired by famous works of art. From Degas to Banksy, audiences will be able to experience masterpieces in an entirely new and meaningful way.
This show will be a "mini-show" in conjunction with a small fundraiser. It will feature only 6 dance works as well as 3-4 guest artist musical numbers. Because of the smaller scale of work, we are looking for a smaller cast of experienced dancers.
Because this show is part of a fundraiser, and the work load will be less than usual, we are asking dancers to donate their time instead of giving a monetary stipend. However, you will still get the perks with being part of an SGDC Production:
